CORSA Performance is well-known for their exhaust systems among Corvette owners and at SEMA they have introduced a new air intake product which will be available in early 2013. CORSA’s Performance Intakes are designed to increase the amount of air flowing into your C6 Corvette, providing increased performance and better fuel economy over the stock air intakes.
Constructed from aerospace-grade carbon fiber, the new CORSA Performance Intakes are 44% lighter than the C6 Corvette’s stock air intakes. The intake features what CORSA calls “Power Channel Technology” which efficiently directs airflow from the filter to the throttle body. The optimized shape and huge filter are less restrictive than the stock intakes and users will see an increase in both horsepower and torque.
CORSA’s Performance Intakes contain stealth mounts on the back and can be installed by anyone in just about 10 minutes. No cutting or drilling required! The CORSA name is embossed on the bottom of the filters, so you know that when they’re putting their name on it, it will be a quality upgrade for your C6 Corvette.
The intakes were specially designed to compliment CORSA’s high performance exhaust systems as more air in means more air out for better performance and better fuel economy.
The new CORSA Performance Intakes will be available in early 2013 and pricing for the units will be announced shortly. CORSA backs the new intakes with a 1 year warranty and will also offer replacement filters as well.
