GM reaches deal with bondholders

General Motors Corp. has reached a deal with its bondholders that would have those firms own up to 25 percent of the automaker, with the U.S. Treasury investing up to $50 billion in GM, according to a filing the automaker made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday morning.

On the day prior to the running of the Indy 500, a couple hundred thousand spectators gathered to watch the annual Indianapolis Festival Parade. In addition to marching bands, float and dignitaries, each of the 33 qualified drivers is carried the length of the parade while ridding on rear deck of one of the special Festival Corvette convertibles.

Prince Albert von Thurn und Taxis recently took delivery of a new Corvette ZR1 in Bonstetten, Switzerland. The Prince is a descendant of one of Germany’s old and wealthy noble families and is an avid race car driver who currently drives a Lamborghini in the FIA GT European Championship and the GT3 Class with Reiter Engineering.
