Goodyear Eagle EMT F1 GS-2 - C6 Corvette Tires

The Eagle F1 GS-2 EMT (Extended Mobility Technology) tire is Goodyear's Ultra High Performance Summer self-supporting run-flat tire developed for C6 Corvette coupes, convertibles and hardtops. Featuring Goodyear's Extended Mobility Technology, these tires provide temporary mobility even after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure. The Eagle F1 GS-2 EMT is designed to blend wet and dry traction with treadwear, however like all summer tires, it is not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

The Eagle F1 GS-2 EMT tires feature Goodyear's Ultra High Performance tread compound molded into a directional tread design. The design combines a continuous center rib that maintains constant road contact to enhance straight-line tracking and initial steering response with high angle tread blocks and circumferential grooves to avoid trapping water between the tire and the road to boost wet traction and hydroplaning resistance. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wound aramid overlays and angled rayon carcass plies to combine disturbance-free operation with high-speed durability. The tire's reinforced sidewalls are capable of temporarily supporting the weight of the vehicle even after a puncture results in complete loss of air pressure.

NOTE: Extended Mobility Technology tires are only recommended for vehicles that are originally equipped with self-supporting run-flat tires and equipped with a tire pressure monitoring system.
