When adding LED reverse bulbs to your '16-'18 Malibu you will need to add a load resistor to prevent the LED bulb from staying illuminated when not in reverse.

This plug and play harness is a simple solution to that "run on problem".  This harness is plug and play and does come with the needed resistor. 

LED bulbs are not included

This harness works on all '16 new body Malibu's as well as 17-18 models. 

Please select appropriate model when ordering as some Malibu's come with LED taillights and some do not. If unsure please contact us with your vin prior to ordering.

1 harness needed per vehicle.  Harness simply goes inline with either reverse lamp assembly and load resistor mounts to a metal surface.  Load resistors do get extremely hot so they must be mounted where they will not contact plastic or other wires.
