Elite Corvette Undercarriage Tunnel Plate - 3/8" Abs of Aluminum

For the "Road-Racer" or "Auto-Cross" driver that demands a little more, this plate is our stiffest plate at 3/8" thick 6061-T6 aluminum.  Coated on all sides with a specially engineered ceramic coated.  Due to the extra thickness of this plate, it is not available with the "Thermal-Abs" applied.  This plate offers the most chassis stiffening of any of our products

 All of our plates are coated with a specially engineered ceramic coating to
help reduce heat transfer into the console area. 

Elite Engineering's undercarriage tunnel plate for C5 and C6 Corvettes was designed with strength and performance in mind. CAD designed and computer precision cut, the 3/8 thick (6061-T6 Aluminum) Abs-of-Aluminum Tunnel Reinforcement Plate is twice the thickness of the stock OEM plate. The benefits of this added thickness is a much more rigid and stiff tunnel plate, which reduces the amount of flex in the chassis and improves the overall functionality of the Corvette suspension. With the new "Thermal Abs" option, temperatures across the C5 Tunnel Plate can be dropped as much as 98 degrees, and as much as 54 degrees on the C6 when compared to the stock, OEM plate.
