CBM Custom LS "shorty" alternator bracket


 CBM Custom alternator bracket for LS style engines. This bracket was designed from the ground up to resolve issues with the Corvette belt line. It is perfect for transplant applications or high horsepower motors. This bracket is machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. It spends almost an entire day in the CNC mill! This alternator bracket allows the use of a 1998-2002 Camaro style alternator to be used on the Corvette belt line. This also allows the power steering to be relocated in a more accessible location above the alternator. The bracket is significantly stronger than the factory cast aluminum piece. It easily holds the additional stress of supercharged motors running a high tension on the belt. We developed this part for blower applications and it performs flawlessly. Chroming or polishing is available for an additional cost.
