Description

Add an element of performance-oriented style to your Camaro with this 3.6L V6 Cold Air Intake System. It looks great under the hood and this upgrade creates up to a 15% reduction in pressure drop and is legal in 37 states. This Chevrolet Performance intake has been rigorously tested and will not void your vehicle warranty. This system includes a high efficiency air filter; accepts the factory PCV connections and sound enhancer; provides a sealed compartment; and includes all necessary installation hardware. As part of the required installation of Performance Air Intake Kit, the vehicle will be required to be re-programmed with updated calibrations. The Customer should not be charged for this, instead the labor involved with the re-programming should be charged to Labor Op 0601558, This doesn't cover the cost of installation.

This Kit will Come with a Calibration code that you must have your GM dealer flash your ECM in order to have the Tune uploaded to your car. This code will forever be attached to your VIN # just in case you need to have your ECM re-flashed down the road. We highly suggest that you have the dealer install the intake since they will need to charge you in order to re-flash the ECM, it MAY cheaper to have them do the complete install rather than you install it yourself and then take the car to the dealer just to have them re-flash it.
The installation instructions with the Intake will contain the calibration code so DON'T THROW THIS AWAY!!!
Customers that take it to a GM dealer to have the intake installed should not and will not be charged for labor to do the re-programming of the ECM. Dealers must charge the labor for the re-programming only to Labor OP 0601558
