All new 2014 LT1 (376 C.I.D.) 6.2-liter direct-injected all aluminum Gen 5 small-block V-8 pushrod engine will power the 2014 and up C7 (7th Gen) Chevrolet base model Corvette's. This naturally-aspirated LT1 engine is the most powerful (in horsepower and torque), fuel efficient, and emissions friendly standard (base) engine ever produced for the Chevy Corvette.
